Code 90

Anyone else here the "code 90" called last night by Armadale 1st? (i think)

Car V Truck - one fatal, one trapped on South West Hwy, Byford.

Rescue 6-4 and many others were sent for the trapped person, or so I thought.

So I am heading there (from Warwick!) and about 5 minutes out they go...

No longer code 90, only 1 person trapped. This is good news of course (no one dead) but I wish they had told me earlier - was trying to get an address from VKI and they didnt know what I was on about!

Oh well...

A "90" in ambulance terms is a deceased person. Often you will hear "DS we have a 90 at this location"
Maybe they use the same term :?:

Yeah a code 90 is a fatal, but then they said - "Its no longer a code 90"

I dont think they revived the person - just confused.
