BFB ID Codes

When the pagers go off for VBFBs in the Shire of Mundaring, each brigade has an ID code. Is this the same for all volunteer brigades and what are the all the brigade codes? When the pager goes off it would be nice to know which other brigades will be joining you. If we get a list going maybe WPXZBP could add the info to the 'The one-stop shop for FESA information' thread.

I'll kick off with the ones i know;

Have done some research and found the brigade codes for the Shire of Mundaring, as follows;

A81 = Mundaring CBFCO and DCBFCO
A82 = Chidlow
A83 = Darlington
A84 = Glen Forrest
A85 = Mt Helena
A87 = Parkerville
A88 = Sawyers Valley
A89 = Stoneville
A92 = Wooroloo
A93 = Darling Range (ICV)

And i believe that the Mundaring VFRS are paged as... Mundaring VFRS!

Yep, all brigades are paged as name. You will find all the Brigade numbers on the frsvols.asn.au site that Wes administers. That number isn't really used for much though. eg Mundaring is Stn 182. Career FRS stations also have one of these Brigade numbers.

The brigade numbers that are paged for BFS I believe are the actual brigade number, and the letter is from the old days of the Bush Fire Brigades Board WA (BFBBWA). You will notice a pattern to do with the region.

I dont think Muresk has a seperate Page any more because it comes under Clackline/Muresk BFB this includes Spencers Brook also.
