Catastrophic fire warning for Eucla - First of many?

The eastern part of the state is facing a 'catastrophic fire' danger rating today, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Residents in the Eucla, which includes Kalgoorlie and Dundas, have been put on alert to flee any potential fire.
"Do not wait for an emergency warning before you act. If a fire starts it will be unpredictable, difficult to control and move very fast," the bureau warned.
