Good work Mr G. I have returned from my second shift at the Red Hill fire. Was part of first turn-out yesterday morning at 6am and back for mop-up at 4am this morning. The winds G refered to never came in, so mop-up in full swing. Like you G i'm rather sleepy... *yawns*

A lot of vehicles there. I saw
Kwinana, Jandakot, Baldivis, Kalamunda, Wanneroo, Quinns rocks, Gosnells, Guildford, Bassendean 2nd, Mundaring, Mt Helena, Stoneville, Darlington, Bullsbrook, East Swan, East and West Gidge.

Sounds like a 3rd Alarm? - in Two Rocks.

Multiple units arrived making contact. Butler Pump advising fire has a 300m front, moving slowly, "running fire"

Units so far:

DM Swan
Quinns Rock LT2
Yanchep Pump and LT
Butler Pump and LT
a unknown 2.4
Wanneroo LT

And a few others. Butler has requested Air Attack (presuming Water Bombers) - all Comms including Air Attack is Ch 96.

UPDATE: Wanneroo Fire Base LT has arrived and making contact. I am pretty sure it was on Two Rocks Road ( I may be wrong).

15:46 - did hear a name for the street - Montebello Boulevard??
15:48 - Wanneroo Chief, Wanneroo ICV and Quinns Rock LT 3 turning out.
15:50 - Butler calling as Two Rocks Control - advising Channel 23 for Air Attack Water Bombers - 96 for ground crews. Blackman Drive? is the control point. Wanneroo LT2 enroute.

Correction - Control Point - Blaxland Ave and Two Rocks Drive.

15:54 - Wanneroo 4.4 enroute Firecall
15:55 - Two Rocks Control SITREP - Fire moving E/NE 300-400m per hour - spotting activity. Fire is not yet contained. Wanneroo Fire Support enroute.

16:01 - Two Rocks 1.4 enroute
16:14 - Wanneroo Fire Support and ICV arrived.
16:27 - 6AR advising Two Rocks Control - 2 additional water bombers enroute to incident.
16:45 - After some comms issues - Wanneroo ICV is now operational. Control Point ammended - Blaxland Avenue cross of Fawkner Rd.
16:47 - Salvation Army enroute to provide refreshments at this incident - ETA 17:40
17:10 - Two Rocks Control - Advising Fire is now under control - contained to 4 Hectares of land. - Resources on hand including Water Bombers will be sufficient for now.
17:20 - Two Rocks Control requesting Police for male standing next to his 4WD on Fire Ground waving Flare.

1315 - Rockingham FRS and Baldivis BFS responding to Baldivis Rd x Mundijong Rd for a fire with Properties under threat.

Disregard. Someone had too much red cordial. Rockingham arrived, small fire, no threat, Baldivis not required.

3RD ALARM SCRUB BUSH (Brought from previous post in Other incidents/minor fires etc - 2010/2011)


Welshpool 1st called in a 2nd Alarm Scrub/Bush fire - 13:45.

Location is Welshpool Road East, Wattle Grove - just behind the Wandilla Nursery - west bound.

Belmont Pump and LT enroute Firecall @ 13:50

UPDATE: Canning Vale 2.4 enroute Firecall @ 14:03

UPDATE: Belmont Pump called up 6AR - UPGRADE to 3RD ALARM.

UPDATE: Maddington Pump and LT enroute Firecall @ 14:24; Belmont ICV enroute - Correct address is 851 Welshpool Road East - Wattle Grove - nearest cross is Lewis Rd. Belmont Pump requesting Police for traffic control - Channel 96 command channel.

UPDATE: Kalamunda Pump and LT enroute and DM Newburn @ 14:30

UPDATE: DM Perth advising 2 Fire Fighters injured - Running fire has been surrounded and appears to be contained. Will re-contact 6AR if Ambulance is required - Confirmed now 4th ALARM.

UPDATE: 6AR advising Belmont ICV - Ambulance has now been dispatched for 2 injured crews - 1x Bee Sting 1x Smoke Inhalation - 14:52

UPDATE: DM Perth handing over to other DM - DM Perth heading back to Perth Station - 15:00\

UPDATE: Kalamunda LT 4 and 5 (BFS) enroute to incident @ 15:02

UPDATE: Welshpool Control advising 6AR - Ambulance has arrived - it was for a resident with Smoke Inhalation (NOT FIRE FIGHTER) -there is a Fire Fighter who had a minor Bee sting.

UPDATE: Belmont ICV no longer required - handing over to DM. 16:43
