Re: Severe weather alerts
Well I guess you were worried for nothing. If you heard the radio today it was crazy. But handled very well. I guess the dfes brass can breathe a sigh of relief that they didn't let you down.....SgtSeedy wrote: I'm some what worried about the ability of the DFES brass to handle any incident on such a day like tomorrow....

Got an email and SMS from the RAC.

Dear Member,
We’d like to let you know that there is a Red severe weather warning for BAKERS HILL.
Weather alert details:
After overnight rainfall further 20-40mm is expected with embedded thunderstorm activity leading to localised heavy falls in places.
Information valid from:
Sunday, 19 October 2014, 8.30am AWST to
Sunday, 19 October 2014, 2.00pm AWST
Some tips you may want to consider:
Try to keep drainpipes and guttering free from debris in advance of ensuing rains.

Re: Severe weather alerts
Yeah I got a similar one yesterday for my place - and an SMS to my phone.
They're actually quite good I thought, a decent amount of detail and some time frames.
