Driving home tonight and went past what looked like a 2nd Alarm - Scrub/Bush Fire - Kwinana Freeway Southbound - before Mount Henry Bridge - approx 20:15 the embankment of scrub/bush alight and going fairly well.
Crews seen at the top of the hill, possibly Edgewater Road in SALTER POINT - possibly Kensington Pump & LT along with Canning Vale Pump, LT & 2.4, (from the radio heard Perth 2nd is there requesting a tech with a winch to assist Kensington LT stuck in soft sand) possibly others there too.

Also on the way home tonight just after 10pm, there were some fire units at the intersection of Roe Highway and Kalamunda road. Couldn't see any fire, so my guess is that it was all over bar the shouting...

The chemical spill in Bayswater, City of Bayswater near the intersection of Collier Road and Tonkin Highway, has been contained and the area made safe.
Career Fire and Rescue Service firefighters have left the scene.
Earlier today a truck spilled herbicide on the road and embankment. The spill has been contained however some drums of herbicide remain on the ground. A recovery incident support crew, recovery management team and DEC remain on site.

Main Roads advises:
Tonkin Highway is now open
Collier Road eastbound between Tonkin Highway and Jackson Street will remain closed.
