Don't know how they managed but single car vs power pole on Sickelmore Road in Parmelia.

Power Pole clean snapped at the base fair bit of damage to vehicle.

Hope Valley & Rockingham 1st attended - earlier this afternoon.

Looks like its Fire Hydrant Inspections? Keningston LT saw observed painting fire hydrants and kurbing this morning.

Caught the tail end of the call - but 6AR has mobilised Armadale 1st Pump & LT along with Rockingham 1st Pump and LT - Firecall Conditions to Mundijong Road (not sure exact location - suspect it's Mundijong Rd & Southwestern Hwy??) - serious crash - Rescue 65 enroute.

UPDATE: 08:17 - Armadale Arrived - code 8-8 - 2nd Alarm - Requesting an MPHR - Welshpool 2nd enroute. Rockingham 1st arrived making contact (08:21).

UPDATE: Rescue 65 ETA 08:28 - Channel 99 for Comms with Armadale 1st.

UPDATE: 08:23 - Armadale 1st advising - 1 x Code 90 - 2 persons still trapped - Car is wedged underneath truck.

I am sad to report that the gentleman who died in the above incident was a long standing member of the Baldivis Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade. I am sure all fellow WARSUG members who are also volunteer fire fighters would like to offer their thoughts and condolences at this time.

Its bad enough anyone being killed, but a fellow firefighter is worse. Like one of the family going.
Condolences and thoughts go out to the family and also to the truck driver who must be extremily stressed over this as well.
