Well, what a year! I bet that everyone is looking forward to see the end of this fire season?

What will happen to Bassendean and Guilford's units that they procured for the summer fire season?

Don't get ahead of yourself w_f.

Many local governments along with FESA are considering extending the total fire ban restrictions beyond March 31st. Conditions are still at their worst after a (record breaking) long hot summer and we here in the Mundaring hills are still looking at extreme figures. Unless we see bucket loads of prolonged rain and mild temps over the next few weeks, the "fire season" won't be over just because the calender says April 1st.

What fire season? There certainly has not been as much action as last year or the year before.

Maybe not as many, but certain residents of Toodyay think this has been a bad season - so far....
