Was talken to my local SO down at Bassendean FRS not to long ago and he said that Bassendean was relocating to kiara next to the police station on Bottle-Brush and Aussat drive Kiara can any one confirm this and would this mean that bassendean2nd would get more of a varity of jobs in that area that bassendean coverd???

And is there a plans of building the Ellenbrook Frs

Yes (Bassendean is moving to Kiara), Yes Ellenbrook is a go.
Not sure on when Bassendean is becoming Kiara, and I was also wondering whether Bassendean 2nd would move with them or whether they would stay in Bassendean and thus become Bassendean VFRS and have Kiara.
Again not sure on full details with Kiara, I expect they're needing money for both stations.

Bassendean CFRS will still be Bassendean when based in Kiara.
Basso 2nd? Not going to Kiara. Maybe ask Craig Hynes or the planning group. they have a plan for us but wont tell. guildford is in the same boat.

this aerial imagery was taken on the 31 oct and they flow other Perth last week so can't be far off before they put a new update on. Will be interesting watching the developments if they update monthly. I don't think the pad for Ellenbrook is to far off. Judging by the work they were doing today.

wouldn't u be happy if u lived in a house that adjoins a fire station.......it would have its pros and cons.

Well i Live in Lockridge Poor me haha but when Bassendean turns out you do sort of here there sirens

yeh but right next to one? that wudnt be fun.

Having said that, a lot of fire fighters that I've spoken to won't use the siren at night unless they have to, they drive simply with lights and will only use the siren when they have to due to both lack of traffic and people sleeping.

So when bassendean moves to kiara what will they do with that fire station on parker street as it a good land space ???

mayb basso 2nd gets to move to the old basso station.. that would be good. hell, they might even combine basso 2nd and basso ses in the one building.
