Looked like they were pouring the slab yesterday, not long now til we see walls going up.

haha that would be our idea situation but i think FESA has other ideas. the station is quite old and would need renovations to incorporate the ses( as well as asbestos removal) but it would be an awesome station and would allow for cross training and membership with the ses. parker st is not a bad location for a station with most major arterial road not far away. It is unlikely that Bass VFRS role would increase as Kiara is jut down the rd and midland and malaga are still close by.

im not sure how keen Bassendean SES would be to move as i know they had to fight pretty hard to get the sheds and office/meeting rooms they have.

The whole thing has been going on for years, and as West Swan Ex captain stated if you check the link abovein auntys_eyes post, no one in FESA has been able to give any solid answer as to what is going to happen when Bassendean CFRS move out. This will also effect Guildford VFRS.

many ideas have been put forward but if FESA has a plan they are keeping tight lipped about it

Ellenbrook has most of it's external walls up as well as most of the roof structure. Starting to look like a fire station now.

This was a while ago 28 Jan but nearmaps is flying perth atm so hopefully we'll see more in the next update.

Got told Monday that Basso 2nd will be moving into the Perms Station when they eventualy move out. YAY!

I believe handover to FESA was supposed to be earlier this week and will be operational sometime in the next 3 or 4 weeks

Just saw a brand new V8 LT parked in the station today. Last week sure the pump parked out the side. Been seeing FESA vehicles there for the past week or so which means it can't be to far off opening
