I spy with my little eye, Canning Vale has a new Pumper. Saw them on firecall turning onto Roe Hwy at Welleri drive.

Might go for a drive past the station this arvo and see if they hav got 2 pumps now or if they just changed over.

Will report on the outcome.

Yes you are right they do have a new pump. The real old heavy pumps are just about all replaced with new ones. These include Canning Vale, Fremantle 1st, Daglish 1st, Belmont, Bassendean, Perth 1st and Duncraig. Then the old medium pumps like Midland, armadale, wangara etc will be replaced.

It is going to be a nice sight seeing a new Perth 1st. The old one was getting a tad out of date.

As has been mentioned all the current Heavy Pumps are all new, the next stage is to start replacing Medium Pumps with Heavy Pumps, I believe Midland is slated as one of the first to be replaced as it was a prototype for the first lot of series 3 Medium Pumps, then other stations like Malaga, will have their's replaced.
Not sure whether the Heavy Rescues will be updated to Heavy Pumps. Would make sense but may not be justifiable as they're all fairly new as far as I'm aware.

Grey plastic front indicates Series 4. Butler was probably one of the last MP's handed out.

if it's marked MP then no it's not a knew Heavy Pump, but it is a brand spanking new Medium Pump...well it was about 2 or 3 months ago anyway.
