3rd alarm scrubfire in success hill reserve in bayswater, midland, joondalup, duncraig, helitak 668 and 689
requested helitak 681, the fire is getting very rapid and hard to control

Midland P & Lt, Belmont P & Lt, Duncraig P & Lt, Bassendean Vol 1.4 & Lt, Belmont ICV, Joondalup 2.4, Canning Vale 2.4, Whiteman Lt X 2, DM Darling Range and the helitacs attended the fire in Success hill

Content:
ALERT LEVEL:
A bushfire ADVICE has been issued for a fire that has started near South Western Highway and Kingsbury Drive in Serpentine.
WHAT TO DO:
People living in the area need to be alert and watch for signs of fire.
You should:
· Close all doors and windows
· Turn off evaporative air conditioners but keep water running through the system if possible
People living in the area need to be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.
WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING:
Fire crews are on the scene. Helitacs have been mobilised to assist ground crews.
The incident was reported at 9.12am today.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke. They should also be aware of emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.
Further information will be released as it become available.

Midland just called 88 malaga on there way, midland req 4 tankers and helitacs, i heard pines, currently scratchy comms.

East swan, bullsbrook have been turned out. Malaga just called saying power lines down and caused the fire, property under threat.

15:49 - DM Darling Range - asking for Guildford appliances to turn out.

15:50 - Midland wants Command Channel 96

Helitacs mobile

15:53 - Swan Chief mobile and enroute - asking for WAPOL to assist.

15:54 - Water Corp Fire Support - Turning out - Daglish enroute to standby at Guildford Station

15:55 - All West Swan units turning out - It's a 3rd Alarm

16:00 - Bassendean arrived at Hadrill and making contact - Ch 96

16:04 - Midland reporting comms on 96 very very bad - requested all units enroute to incident to radio in at top of Hadrill Drv. Perth 2nd Enroute.

16:14 - Helitacs 670 and 670 enroute to Millendon - ETA 16:18 - East Swan Control Setting up on intersection of Haddrill Rd and Campersic Rd

16:20 - DM Darling Range arrived at Control Point - Bullsbrook 7.2 turning out. Quinns Rock LT 3 enroute.
