Major Fire - West Pinjarra.
.

The Fire and Emergency Services Authority said the fire started about 12.30pm and posed a threat to properties in the area.
The fire is believed to have started at a private property and has been accelerated by bales of hay. Firefighters are still trying to contain the fire.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
There are no reported injuries.

Murdoch has just called in a third alarm bush leach hwy... I'll get a cross when I hear it.

Canning Vale has a second alarm bush but has requested 2lt's and a 2.4, the fire jumped the river from colahan way to liege street.

Wanneroo ICV is set up for a fire at Jandabup/Wanneroo, DEC has tracked one flank of the fire.

Byford is being contacted and Armadale first is on the way

more brigades have been requested to be contacted

Serpentine chief asked for Mundijong and Jarrahdale to be mobilized
Armadale 1st ask for Armadale 2nd to be mobilized due to amount of smoke, but was told by SOO negative wait to arrive and talk to Oakford due to fire is in there area.

'Jarrahdale arrive 66 making contact'

also Serpentine 3.4 mobile as well

Latest report 2 acres, 1 hour to control and should be ok with the resorces on route. its windy down there with gusts to 35km/h in jandakot.

Fire has just been reported as contained they have a bulldozed area around the incident.
