668, 669 on their way after clearance from ATC, changing to ch 23, Armadale 1st in control, Maddington and Armadale 2nd mobilised, calling for another 2.4

Caningvale 2.4 has been turned out to the grass fire in Armadale.
668, 669 arrived, Air Intel re tasked to Armadale

A Little late, but can't get online always...

Feb 9th
1111 called to 1st alarm scrub fire Australind
1355 new fire few hundred metres away starts
1410 two more new fires start (Against the wind direction) a few hundred metres away threatening several industrial properties - upgrade to 3rd alarm
1420 another new fire about 500m away starts next to other properties -upgrade to 4th alarm
1528 contained but not under control
1800 under control 80% mopped up
1820 control handed over to Harvey Deputy Chief
2007 flare up - Eaton / Australind VFRS back again.

Bushfire ADVICE for Darlington, Boya and Helena Valley
Friday 12 February 2010 – 5:30 PM

ALERT LEVEL:

A bushfire ADVICE has been issued for people in the western part of Darlington and eastern parts of Boya and Helena Valley for a fire that has started between Victor Road and Hudman Road.

There are no lives or homes threatened by the fire. Although there is no immediate danger you need to keep up to date in case the situation changes.

People living in the area need to be alert and watch for signs of fire.

You should:

· Close all doors and windows

· Turn off evaporative air conditioners but keep water running through the system if possible

People living in the area need to be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.

WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING:

Fire crews are on the scene.

Helitacs have been mobilised to assist ground crews.

The incident was reported at 4.48pm today.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke. They should also be aware of emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.

Further information will be released as it become available.

3rd alarm grass scrub today at armadale, control point was taylor x armadale rd lots of units from around that area, helitak 668 and 681 sorry i dont know all vehicles was at work listening to bits and pieces armadale units,jandakoot units :oops: ,heard also units from rolystone,gosnells etc at one stage heard armadale light tanker say there was 10 hectres burning not yet controlled they were working on 3 different sectors, air intel will head back tomorrow morning for a run to check out any hotspots etc.. sorry cannot be more precise maybe someone else heard more or has alot better memory than me :-k

7.38pm guilford lt and 2.4 and bassendean lt turning out to the fire at bindoon,has anyone more info on size etc must be going alright if guilfo and basso turning out,fesa website not saying that much just a watch alert advice

Guildo and basso voleys are going normal road so it will just be for relief, at about 1600 midland with two light tankers turned out to it and halfway up got stood down then told to continue normal road 5 minutes later... thats all I've got on it!

basso and guildford voleys have been redirected to a fire in caversham there is also Basso 1st, Malaga and Malaga 2.4 in attendance and by the sounds of it Perth 2nd just turned out to it from midland station.
Fire is in the area of Reid Hwy and Patricia Street

Update @ 20:09 request water tanker on Reid Hwy
Canning vale 2.4 turning out and also DM Commercial Training

There are a lot of appliances going to Lancelin, all were just upgraded to Fire call (21:05), any info?

Lancelin fire is on Beacon Rd, fairly windy up there by the latest weather stats.
