Beacon rd is the back rd to Wedge island.Not sure if it a sealed rd or a track.

chidlow and rolystone have just been turned out to attend to lancelin fire, nice long drive ahead for those bridgades,be nice if fesa had something about this fire on their web page

Yeah I would have thought the FESA PR machine would be pumping something out by now, there seems to be a few fires popping up probably from last nights/todays lightning, I'm just trying to figure out if there is any active lightning cells going through there at the moment, seems to be some going through Bunbry/Dwellingup area

My house backs on to wanaroo road and there has been brigades from all over going up twords lancalin from about 8pm ish all going fire call so far i have counted 15 units that includes wanaroo 2xlt and 4.4

They have put up some info in the Lancelin fire... not that much though and would be now pretty out dated as usual.

2 x bush fires currently.
One in Singleton(?). Sounds like it is under control.
Other in Bullsbrook. Not yet under control. Confirmed 3rd alarm. Bullsbrook 7.2, 3 x LT on scene. East Swan and West Swan mobile. Water bombers mobile, helitacs requested. Assistant Manager Perth North East mobile. East & West Gidgigannup and Wanneroo requested. Joondalup MP, LT & 2.4 mobile.

Update
1316 Malaga mobile to Bullsbrook. Air Attack 1 over the fire. Command channel 46. Helitac 670 mobile.
1322 Muchea LT mobile to Bullsbrook.

Morrisson x Great Northern Highway

East Gidge LT and West Gidge LT 1 mobile fire call conditions.
Helitac 670 & 671 arrived and QSYing to 23.

Command channel is 46.

1330 Front end loader requested.
1332 Joondalup arrived.
1333 Quinns LT 1 mobile.
1334 Swan ICV mobile in a few minutes. ETA to be around 20 minutes.
1336 Quinns(?) 3.4U mobile.

1335 Baldivis and Singleton appliances have been released from the other scrub fire.

air attack saying there is a lot of spotting ahead of the main fire and is talking about the need for property protection

Reminder: This thread is predominantly for third alarm and above bush fires however if it is a significant fire (ie threatening homes and businesses) that is at least second alarm then it will be acceptable. If it's not one of those things then post it in one of the other, more appropriate threads.
