19:54 - Spot Overs reported Marshall Rd for Caversham.
20:00 - Caversham Control advises 6AR that spot fires at Marshall Rd are too far away from Control area of Caversham - requesting other units not tied up with incident to respond.

A bushfire ADVICE has been issued for people in the vicinity of a fire that has started in the Ron Carroll Reserve, Bull Creek, between Sanderson Road and Dryer Road.
Lives and homes may be under threat.
WHAT TO DO:
People living in the area need to be alert and watch for signs of fire. Embers could be blown around your home and spot fires may start.
You should:
· Close all doors and windows
· Turn off evaporative air conditioners but keep water
running through the system if possible
People living in the area need to be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.
WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING:
Fire crews have responded to the scene.
The incident was reported at 7.20pm today.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke. They should also be aware of emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.
Further information will be released as it become available.

20:02 - Malaga Pump and LT - enroute to the Marshall Rd Spot Overs
20:08 - Appears more flare ups on Marshall Rd - nearest cross I think it was Middle Swan Rd.

3rd alarm scrub fire midland,roe hwy/morrison rd cross police required urgently for traffic control on hwy, area approx 300mx200m confidant they can hold it at patterson drive,i know area well large grassy area bordered by housing estates once grass has burned out nowhere really to go unless it jumps roe hwy and heads towards more scrub at stratton

by the sounds of things there are multiple spot fires in Caversham area.

Passed this on the way back from Brigadoon.. people were parking on the side of the road to have a look. even on the same side of the fire, a few metres behind the fire engines

There is a strike team assembling at Butler. Perth 2nd and 3 LT, Basso, Kwinana all under fire call conditions to Butler FS.
