Was interesting watching the flames from the airport, yes the airport. Reports is that 2 houses were lost, and that is from a very reliable source.

Word from FESA today - that NO houses have been lost - only Patios, Verandahs and Fencing - I don't know where you're getting your info from - even the FESA Alerts are saying No HOUSES lost.

[QUOTE] Several homes in the area have been saved, but there have been unconfirmed reports of infrastructure lost or damaged such as sheds, patios/verandahs, fencing and reticulation [QUOTE\]

They said on ABC news that one house and one shed lost. That's possibly where it's coming from.

also the internet version of the west are saying their was 1 house lost last night in boulonnais rd along with several sheds, hope report is wrong but sounds about right with the information given on this forum, interesting to hear that fire is still out of control going by radio broadcasts, went past that way this morning and no large smoke plumes comming from out of brigadoon just low smoke like at mop up stage, looks like they have done a great job to contain it at the moment considering the country it is in,just hope it stays that way with the way the wind is
