We flew in the Metroliner VH-WGX, much more comfortable than the Navahoe VH-BAB they usually give us.

Melville and Rockingham took their lighting towers to the fire at Western Meat Packers this arvo for the crew change. VERY MESSY!!! twisted metal everywhere. not the most pleasant smell either. Thanks to the salvos for a good feed afterward.

you dont need the salvos at that job for a feed. you could just go search for a nice bit of steak that has been cooked to perfection, or a nice roast. LOL

Had a small chuckle about this when i heard them ask for Level 3 and Level 4 refreshments for the fire fighters. lol

Do you know what they're/they were searching for?

POLAIR was circling around 6.30pm for a good half an hour; there was a police paddy wagon stationed at the railway crossing nearby on Bushmead Rd for a good few hours, and spotted an SES guy with a dog walking past East Guildford train station about 5. Haven't heard anything anywhere on the news sites though..

It was announced on the news last night I believe - regarding a missing elderly male.

Cheers for the information guys.

Hope it is a good sign too, treeny. If not, I hope you's find him safe and well soon :)
