Anyone know what was happening in the city on Friday afternoon?
Noticed an SES truck parked on the foot path on St Georges Tce about 3:30pm near London court? About 4 or 5 crew got out but didn't look in a hurry and no lights on.

SES is ramping up over the next few days for a missing person's search.

I sincerely hope all involved will be found safe, and well.

Sad, sad news. Sam Trott was found deceased in the lake nearby his home.

It's an outcome no one wanted, and I personally hoped that Sam had slipped into someone's side/back yard unnoticed and would pop out sooner or later.

The community effort on this incident was unprecedented, simply amazing the amount of people that attended to help.

Indeed. I wanted to attend the SES callout, but I couldn't because of work.

Sad, sad outcome indeed. :(
