Just noticed alot of smoke 4rm KingsPARK. It looks huge. Its 4rm the south end of Kings Park. Any updates any1? G

Confirmed bush fire with a possible arsonist, police requested

Appliances either mobile or on scene

Daglish 1st and 2nd
Perth 1st Pump and LT
Claremont
Kensington
Canningvale 2.4 and Malaga 2.4
DM Metro
Belmont ICV

Sit Rep on fire hasn't been given yet

Edit: Helitaks also requested as soon as available

Second Edit: Jonndalup 2.4 to be mobilised and finding another LT
ACO Metro has asked for 2 more managers be mobilised
and control point is at one of the war memorials (which I missed)
and ETA of helitak 10 - 15 minutes
Property under threat
Up Graded to 6th ALarm by Dm Metro

Third Edit: Welshpool 1st, Fremantle 1st Malaga P and LT and Murdoch mobile
DM Belair
ACO has asked for BFS resourses to be mobilised
Eastern front being held

Fourth Edit: DM Hills and Regional Director mobile
Osbourne Park mobile and maybe Welshpool 2nd

Thanks for the update - and I do apologise for starting a new topic, I was on the bus, and on the mobile...

I am at work and can see the plumes of smoke - and can see the War Memorial statue from my office... If anyone can keep us updated, it would be appreciated.

ACO now on scene, DM Swan mobile

From the map I'm looking at Forest and Lovekin was the point for the call and they are having property undert threat around Poole and Park.

Helitaks now airbourne and mobile

FIO is also mobile

Fire started or appliances mobilised approximately 0630 ( i think that when I got up)

Second Edit: Gosnell BFS acknowlegded and crewing for Kings Park
DM Stirling mobile

Third Edit: DM South Coastal and CFM Mundaring mobile (0738)

Just witnessed a Water Bomber do a drop - and the Yellow Carso flew right by low level above the War Memorial statue.

We saw it coming into work this morning - about 6:45am and it was a huge plume of smoke even then.
