Comms techs were heard in convo with Albany Regional Office today on WAERN channel 268.

yeh i heard the morse today on the new waern chanenel 164.000mhz but then heard 6ar for everyone on channel 55 to check there mics... who knows what it is?

Dude. See above.. that was a DTMF tone from someones radio.

one simple way to see its morse is get yourself a copy of the morse code and translate it, you will soon work out if its gibberish or not

ive come across sounds like this before scnning for new freqs im inclined to belive however the frq its on it will be more than likely a cell call oe dtm

but translate it n see what happens, would be kick arse if it is morse but
