Rescue 651 is the new call sign for Rescue 65.

Rescue 652 will be the second helicopter once it's operational in Bunbury.

Thanks Helimedic, just two quick questions;

Will Rescue 651 be sponsored by the RAC? What manufacturer made the aircraft.

Serpentine is the skycrane base, and no you can't see it as it is a private airfield.

Hi guys I am just wondering why you can only hear Rescue 651 on ESA 171 and not the fire crews as well.

Thanks :)

It's a simplex channel so unless you are very close to the ground crew you won't hear them. It's a line of sight communication.
