If this is a private outfit, they are seriously cashed up. Reckon they could buy their way into red and blue ;-)

It looked not unlike this, but white.

That's Wildfire. Arrived a few weeks ago. Fairly certain they're trialling what it can offer.

Similar, but the one I saw was more curved and definitely had FIRE emblazoned down the sides.

Pretty sure that the SES Comms Support Unit's OKA.

CSU were there and had set up a repeater to give better coverage over the fireground. That area is notorious for poor radio comms.

Yesterday, firefighters performed a Denial of Service attack on the mobile phone infrastructure in Gidgegannup ;)

A post on the Gidgegannup Volunteer Bushfire Brigades' Facebook page said:
If you were wondering while phone and internet coverage was extremely poor yesterday; 50+ fire trucks with mobile phones brought 100+ volunteers with mobile phones to Berry Road. Plus Police and Salvation Army. Some of us carry duty phones, laptops/tablets as part of our fire management kit. By my rough math that would take us well over 200 mobile devices all trying to grab some space on the Gidgegannup tower.
