Just watched a full complement on BRT's drive past Landgate on Morrison Rd under firecall conditions, looked like 2 pumps with LT's and a 2.4 with LT, missed the lead vehicle unfortunately so I'm guessing that was pump. I'm presuming they're headed for Toodyay fire as I can't see a big plume in the hills just at the minute.

I'd be surprised if Armadale's HSR was in that lot it did look like a pump and it would have been a quicker I would have thought to go on Roe Hwy to Toodyay road. Unless they were all rendezvousing at Guildford.

Too many trees here to be able to see but I'm appalled it's so big you can see it from the city!

Me too. Hoping that the damage isn't as bad as it's been reported so far, and no lives lost.

I have spoken to mate who is at the front line and he said its fare from being over. Look at the winds out side now. He said that its going to go well into the night uncontrolled. Hope there all safe and the people of the town of Toodyay are kept safe and well looked after.

Yeah, it's pretty windy here in the hills at the moment - I assume it's not too dissimilar in Toodyay...
