My understanding is Ellenbrook will man a 2nd LT for awhile yet.
Ellenbrook has a new 3.4U parked in their station, not sure if it's there permanently or if they're just training on it.

I saw Ellenbrooks 3.4u today. Interesting to see it has DFES 3.4U on the side of it.

From what I've heard, it is a regional asset and will be moved around the state depending on the time of year and operational requirements.

This is true. At the end of the South Wests fire season they will be going up to the Midwest & Kimberely for their season.
Interesting to note that 2 are Red, and 2 White.

The vehicle itself is a regional asset, not Ellenbrook. I assume DFES will allocate it to a location based on a risk assessment. Obviously Ellenbrook has no need for a 3.4 during the winter months, so it would be sent elsewhere during this time.

very much agreed with the both of you. Also other agencies with vast amount of resources that aren't very well utilised in the area and around the state for that matter...

Who updates the Fesa websites information?
It would be very helpful if they were a bit more timely. At Margs last year, their "emergency" information was nearly 24 hours out of date. I notice that it hasn't improved much. They should be listening to you guys instead. I do, and it is *very* helpful.
