Frequencies for Duncraig, Joondalup and Wangara Stations

I live in the Northern Suburbs and i am wanting to listen to my local fire station which i have listed above as the title of this thread. What i am wanting is the radio frequencies for these stations and also the other information such as Job codes.

Hello wascanner, welcome to the WARSUG forum.

Have a look at the sticky thread in the FESA section, it has all the frequency data etc that you're looking for.

All the FESA metropolitan repeaters are linked so you just have to choose the best channel for where you are. Try channel 55 or 57.

I was reading on a website while looking at CH57 and for all the channels there is a RXF Frequency and a TXF Frequency. So what is a RXF frequency and what is a TXF frequency?

Most commercial radio systems use repeaters to increase coverage. The frequency that the repeater receives on is different than the frequency it transmits on. We're interested in the TX frequency (for FESA, the ones around 78Mhz) since the RX frequency will be direct from the mobile radio and unless we're really close to the scene we won't hear them.
