DBA - Direct to Brigade Alarm.

Some places like hospitals, telephone exchanges and so on have smoke/fire alarms which, when activated, send a message to FESA or to individual Brigades. Where I live, we have 5 places connected to our Station.

"DBA Valid" means that the alarm was for a valid reason such as a fire or, as seen all too often, somone burning dinner.

A DBA fault is when the alarm has gone off for no reason at all (faulty) and as WPXZBP said, DBA valid is when the alarm has gone of cause of smoke and burnt toast (has a valid reason for going off)
