anybody know whats happening in murdoch as usar is going there for storm damage.

At melville storm incident they had the USAR truck and perth ute working in two seperate teams with a couple of people called T1 and T2

All ses and then bfb where put with certain units to go out and assist them,filling sandbags,doing reccy and holding ladders etc.

Definitly needs to be worked on but when it comes together or if it does could be very efficient

USAR is Urban Search and Rescue- It is a multi Agency Response Provided by FESA that consists Career FRS, SES, St Johns Ambulance, DOH Doctors and a K9 unit. Within the Task force members are trained in USAR CAT 2, Confined Space Rescue, Heavy Rescue, Vertical Rescue, Techical Search and Tree Felling operations just to name a few. As you can see it can be used for a variety of different tasks set by the Task Force Leader.
