Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicles

In the new edition of the Flight Safety Australia Magazine, Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Fire Vehicles of Airservices Australia, are now being re painted from the old Signal Red to a new Yellowish Green, the colour favoured overwhemingly by international studies as the safest colour most visible in all light and weather conditions, the vehicles reflective markings, known as decals, will also be changed to maximise visibility: Copyied by word from the ATC Notes. the Picture shown in the magazine is of the new Mark 8 Rosenbauer Panther Vehicle, in the new colours.. jj

And as a side note, they are building a new fire station at the airport also.

Possibly not before time as the old tower building has been condemned, and the existion Station is part of that.

The new airport is to be built I think on the Kalamunda rd side near the old incinerator.

Also air services so the aviation Firefighting and rescue brigade has taken over the fire station at Broome airport and also they are reopening the station at Karrath airport due to the increase in passengers. FYI
