Stats, every 10 years, this season is number 10, The Weather is going to be drier, hotter than average with less rain. Its shaping up to be a very bad one, last year was very quiet considering.

Firefighters are battling a bushfire in Gidgegannup this afternoon.
The blaze is burning near the intersection of Reen Road and Toodyay Road.
People who live in the area are advised to close all doors and windows and turn off evaporative air-conditioners but keep water running through the system if possible.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke.
