Just a moment ago - fire is surrounded, they are expecting it to be contained by 1500 hrs.

Was 3rd alarm scrub on mulga rd, Jandabup.
Was worth listening to for comedy reasons alone with some obviously very amateur vollies asking 6ar,just after mobilising, if "there had been reports of big flame or smoke" and a very puzzled 6ar stating that they were unsure and that the unit may pay to attend the fire to find out.It just got worse from there :D

To be fair, the fire was nowhere near the reported location.

No radio anywhere nearby so all I can add is that "it's still going", based on looking out my window at work here in the city ;)

Just a reminder to all (has been discussed before), any fire in Kings Park has a pre-defined response due to the sensitive nature of the bushland. Even a very small fire will have a larger-than-normal response.

Kings Park Board also has a couple of fire appliances in the park.

Interesting that Daglish isn't on your list Leigh. Must've been busy.

Kings Park update

Thomas street southbound closed. Fire not under control.

Police in attendance.

Would pay to avoid the area on your ways home...
