Confirmed 5th alarm structure fire, Karrinyup shopping centre. Multiple appliances en route.

Now only 2nd Alarm. Confirmed Freo 1st and Osbourne Park SET (and maybe others)on scence. Turned away Malaga, Belmont iCV, Perth CLP, Freo CLP, Danglish 1st, Perth 2nd. DM enroute normal road

Just before I read Leigh's post, I heard a few vehicles with sirens going through the CBD - which put things into context.

Me too - I heard Perth Second and saw it from the AMP building -as it came up to William/St.Georges Tce - they closed lights and sirens and turned left onto william and left again at the Terrace, heading back...

Sorry bout lack of update, logged off after my post.
Basically everything that jonesy said, last transmission i heard was that a faulty light had caused a large amount of smoke in the roofspace.

Appeared to be a faulty transformer for an Exit sign. Smoke and flames visable by customers but was out when crews arrived. They were investigating furthur when I got called away.

I'm taking it then it's not available on 57 or is there no radio traffic at the moment. (At work so forced to use the streaming scanner)

Sorry should have posted this when I heard it. But ended off with a $100,000 damage, accidental, caused by pot of oil on stove.
