Heard it as it happened. Train driver said "a guy has walked out in front of me and laid down on the tracks, I have hit him"

that would have been interesting, especially if there were a few flights having landed recently. I wonder if they evacuate persons having just arrived to a different location as they haven't been processed. Odd that they kept just playing the warning tone. I'm surprised they didn't turn it off while investigating then sound the evacuate tone if required. If it's started on the evacuate tone then I would have thought it should remain on that as the warning tone does not require anyone to evacuate. Wasn't there so don't know and can't really lay down the rules, just curious that's all.

Anyone else hear about this one? Which units other than Murdoch and Kensington turned up?

I came across a MVA today involving a BFS FRU prototype. (Mazda 4x4 cab) It was on its way to be shipped to Kununurra WA. Lost its breaks at the intersection of North Lake road and South street and took out the traffic lights. Not sure if i should have but i used the radio out of the crashed mazda to call 6ar to organize SJA, FRS and main roads. Driver was ok. Bashed up hand etc. Airbags went off and fluid spill. Murdoch SET and LT dealt with spill. SJA sorted out driver.
