Mainly contained, in the area around Mundaring Weir Rd and Coolgardie Rd. Several ignition sources along powerline track.

No property lost, approx 2-3 hectares of bushland burnt.

6 indapendant ingnition pionts mostlty contained
all will be under controll in 5 mins no property under threat now
3HA of bush have been burnt along the powerline track extensive mop up to follow
now have 4 DEC appliances on scene.

1450 fire now containd dec loader putting mineral earth break in arround fire.
1520 mop up still comencing for at least approx 60mins

Heard reference to Kendenup (3.4R?) and Porongurup (2.4R?) BFS units but didn't see them.
(I was on the western front battling the fire and a fast fill pump.)

Firefighters tackle petrol station gas leak
Motorists travelling around Kewdale are urged to avoid the intersection of Abernethy and Kewdale roads as firefighters deal with a gas leak at a petrol station.

Police have cordoned off the roads around the Shell petrol station and are redirecting traffic.

Firefighters from Belmont and Welshpool are spraying cold water on a gas line that ruptured about 12.20pm.

A Fire and Emergency Services Authority spokesperson said the cold water was used to minimise the risk of ignition.

hey all, just got back from a scrub fire in Picton. unsure what the classification was. Units in attendance were:

Bunbury 1st MPHR and LT
Bunbury 2nd CP and LT
Bunbury BFB 3.4 and fast attack.

caused by power lines falling in the scrub.
total of 4 1/2 hours job duration.

Hope Valley, Canning Vale 2.4, Mandogalup and Jandakot 9.2 at grass Fire in Kwinnana sumerton X seabrooke kwinnana golf course. Any one know any more appliances that are thier and any sit reps only thing iv herd is it is peat soil.
