Does anyone know the WAERN repeater that is linked to CH16 (old) in the Perth area?

I've been hearing helitacs recently saying they are operating on ch16, since my scanner won't pick up the old 78MHz freq I'm trying to find the WAERN repeater that is linked.

The closest repeater to Perth that I can find in the ACMA database that uses 78.2375 is in Jurien - surely that's too far for use in the metro area.

Ideas?

Just heard the helitacs nominate WAERN Ch 363 (161.175 simplex) as a 'tactical' frequency: they're using it for aircraft-to-aircraft comms.

I just noticed the WAERN pdf contains some additional repeaters, channels 371 - 380. Anyone know if these are 'live' and what if any of the old repeaters (mid band) they link to?

I also noticed there is an extra simplex channel, there may be more changes I haven't noticed.

They are "live" as you put it and link to the old channel e.g. 372 is linked to 54 in Bunbury.

I also noticed there is an extra simplex channel, there may be more changes I haven't noticed.

Even more WAERN channels are reserved for future use in the program. If and when is another story though!

Ive been picking up 6IP/AR on 164.112Mhz Up Near Northam I have read somewhere it is listed as clackline anybody have any idea if that is the repeater location?
