does anyone know if there are any FESA frequencies in the range of 430-470 ?

 thanks :)
430-450 MHz you won't find any FESA / DFES frequencies as that block is one of the bands allocated to amateur radio. But 450-470 I guess it's possible (and I see you've found some frequencies already)...

Have noticed Bunbury
1st and 2nd coming through on the 6AR command channel in the last couple of months. Does anyone know which channel they are using? As far as I was aware WAERN 217 was the furthest south command channel but you can't hit that from Bunbury

They have been coming on for longer than that, They are just becoming a little more busier than previous years.

Yeah thanks...... But if you have read my question I wasn't asking how asking how long they have been on for, I was asking what channel they are transmitting on

http://warsug.info/warsug/frequencies/W ... 0freqs.pdf

seems to suggest that they may be transmitting on 135 or 372....

I'd be guessing that 372 is a command channel, as the others listed near it are also command channels.

Having Bunbury appliances come up on 6AR on a daily basis, seems to have followed on from the establishment of the second career FRS crew (Bunbury 2nd) in April last year, in addition to the existing career crew and the Bunbury VFRS.

Anyone else having reception issues with DFES on their scanners? For a few days now i've not been receiving anything on the WAERN (VHF-high) channels, only on the old 78mHz (VHF-mid) channels?? Is there a problem with the WAERN network??

I can confirm that 372 is a 6IP/6AR command channel.

I was traveling down south yesterday and was listening on my handheld 92xlt (using the stock antenna-no car mount)
Ch 217 (Huntley) is great from outside of Pinjarra all the way to Harvey (a little patchy in Waroona)
Ch 372 (Bunbury) is also good in Harvey.

Under viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5454 "WAERN Channel/Frequency information (Channels 101 - 653 aka "High band")" the pdf has # marks next to the know control channel repeaters if that's what you mean. It also has the comms plan (three letters in bold and a number) repeaters.
