Paging is done through commercial companies, such as 3 Paging (formerly Orange) - some might even use Link still.

Can you tell me what frequency this is on, I would like to play around with using some decoding software.

Thanks

Rockingham will probably use channel 56.

I've never seen any reference to that channel before but the licence says that FM narrow (F3E) may be used.
I've noticed that too. I suspect the 472.075 Freq is a for public address paging. Will have to camp outside a fire station one day when I have little to do and find out :-)

Neither 458.025 or 458.075 are licensed either.

Anyone picked up anything on 472.075 , 458.025 or 458.075 ?

Yep. They're simplex handheld frequencies so you need to be quite close to hear them.

When there were the fires in Whiteman park last year I could just here them talking on the UHF frequencies using my roof UHF CB antenna - and I'm about 5Kms away.
