Firebird 611 VH-WDI with the imaging equipment is currently flying around Mt Helena!!!! Got no idea why.

yep - was just watching it and checking here (and the FESA site) to see if there was something going on - don't hear any sirens thank goodness!

Ahh I did see a helicopter over Parky, but I couldn't see who it was, as it flew directly in front of the sun!

Must have been doing some mapping up around the hills today as it was doing huge circles.

They were testing the video link to FESA Comcen on it the other day - possibly more testing or even training?
