Streaming DFES scanner audio

Post by vk6hgr »

Hi All.

I have two receivers set up. One is on on channel 306 (WAERN) DFES 6AR Perth command channel, the other monitors major DFES and SES command channels.

Information for connecting to the streams is in the DFES One-stop shop thread.

This is the announcement thread. Please continue discussion in the discussion thread. (Old thread: here)

Listening on mobile phones

Here are some media players out there that will stream Shoutcast on mobiles:

Windows Mobile

GSplayer http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA032810/

Symbian (Nokia, etc)

Hard to set up, but the S60 Internet Radio app does work

Two posts up.

Great audio stream.
I'm a Volunteer Ambo in the country and this is great to be able to hear FESA dispatched to a job. When I'm on shift, it gives me a heads up that I'll receive a callout shortly.
Well done.

I'm out of town so it's hard to test. The server did crash but it's going now and I can see people are connected. What is it doing wrong?
