Hi,

Listening to Red Hill and Roleystone on scanner feed of 6AR, are there any other feeds for these fires?

Many thanks

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the online scanner? I connect, lasts the three - six seconds then disconnects [i.e nothing heard] and the counter stops.

Using it through VLC which I've had no problems before.

Download the "Scanner Radio" app from the Android Market. There is both a free and paid version, I only have the free version but it works fine. If you go into Browse>By Area>Australia>WA>South West, you will find 2 streams, one FESA Command channel, and one railway police.

Can someone with scanner radio give me some feed back on the Northam VBFB feed - Browse>By Area>Australia>WA>Central West or perhaps it has been re-zones correctly to central wheat belt.

This is my feed, and I have some issues listening on "Scanner Radio". I get what sounds like a lot of chatter in quiet voices. When I listen from my pc the feed is clean. When I listen to 6IP/6AR that feed is also clean.

Just want to know if it my phone, or a combination of my feed software and scanner radio.

EDIT: Just tested with the browser on the phone and no "chatter" - so very interested to hear any othetr feed back.

BTW, I have the paid version, but I thought I wanted access to the archives on my phone. Don't think I've used them yet.

Yes Colin I seem to have the same garbled sound in the background on the Android app for your feed :(

On the PC with the volume turned up I don't get any background noise other than a little normal static :)
