Any of the SES guys preparing to head up north and use the Storm and Water damage, Chainsaw and General Rescue Qualifications?
I had a page come out requesting availability the other day, unfortunately I can't go because of work.

I love the cyclones. I am from a small town in the Gulf of Carpentaria and I have enjoyed them all, except for the last one which was category 5!

Wow, N_R. That must have been huge. I recall only ever being in one category 5, and that was Joan back in '75. We were staying the the Walkabout in Port Hedland, and I was a wee tacker then hehe. But I do remember the vision of the whole roof of the hotel lifting off above me as we all hid in the bathroom!

I would have guessed that '75 was before you were born Chicky

Haven't received any pages for standby, but it's coming. Who'll be putting there names down to go if required? Might see if work will let me go.

It is still creating a lot of work for the Planners following its path and developing contingencies along the way.
