Major Fires 2007/08 (Structural)

Post by spartacus »

Lets start of the season with this:
http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2007 ... site=perth

Some thug decided to light a fire in a Perth Supermarket on Barrack Street. Landed him in court and remanded in custody till the 21/11/07

Police closed off the street (i don't monitor FESA) and spent there time keeping witnesses a safe distances from the blaze. It took FESA 2 hours to control

And yeah, he'll get a slap on the wrist with a wet tram ticket and let go.

Did anyone hear anything about a fire in Wangara late Wednesday night? I was going down Ocean Reef Road around the back of Wangara just before midnight and there was a large cloud of smoke coming up from in there somewhere...

not toyota its the building next door which was part of the origonal complex .Can see why they are having issues with the water as my company installed the fire service from the water mains to the building at at the time we commented that it was a small pipe for the building size

Time for me to retire. Expect a few more stations to rotate through this one, as relief crews are organised.
