Kalamunda FRS or bushfire brigade? I didn't think the bushfire brigade did any structural fires.

Or perhaps that's why the FRS were coming to assist?

Meg,

Local Govt (and as such, Bush Fire Brigades) are actually legally responsible (under the Bush Fires Act 1954) for structural fires outside of the gazetted fire districts. Whether they are equipped for it or not, is another thing entirely (you can blame FESA for this though).

ah yes - the 2.4 looks like it might well be - hadn't noticed it before, I assumed the FRS team did structural fires :)
