The INTERIOR
Comparison shot of the interior of our other lt thats just over 2 years old
Close up... new radio head with the old backing, apparently to save money for once they change it all over to low band.
Note where the torch holder is... bit ordinary
Very happy

This is actually because you cannot buy the Tait 2020 Conventional radios anymore - they were discontinued last year and replaced with the 8250 (which is what you have in that pic). Yes, the new dual band radios will use that type of control head.
(btw, its VHF Hi Band they are switching to)
About bloody time they started doing better suspension upgrades on the vehicles - we've had most of ours done after delivery and certainly wouldnt want to drive one that hasn't had it done anymore!
What tyres did they deliver it with?

Thats an old truck.. well, Wanneroo's newest but still probably a year old? .. and the lights are a trial only - they only went on recently.
They are pretty crap (in my opinion).. way too bright at night and dont have very good coverage to the sides, which is a must for slipping through intersections.
The tow point on your front bull bar - do you know if its painted red or yellow? We had the whole front end replaced on a truck and got a new bull bar which is painted red instead and says it is rated for snatch recovery.. (which came just after we got given stickers to put in every truck to say you couldnt recover them with a snatch strap.. go figure)
With regards to the suspension.. its actually a GVM upgrade so the vehicle should handle the weight on it much better - its not done for clearance or 'lift'.

not sure.. but i know it definately is snatch recoverable, whilst lt2 isnt.
Yeah chris was tellin me how they (wanaroo) are goin to put em on 30 degree angle so that it gives side coverage.. pretty dangerous with out it like u said.

the new lt had red tow points front and rear which means yes its snatch rated but both our other trucks have yellow and are "tow only"

The Tait TM8250 is a single band radio, the TM8260 is dual band.
