It was there purely to see if it would fit in the shed. It is the first and last time that vehicle will be parked in there.

If I understand correctly there is two of these new ICV's either complete or nearly complete.

Chinese whispers has one of these going to bunbury.

Don't know the truth behind it but thats what the rumour mill is saying...

Isn't CLP1 (the old S3 Scania) the stand by machine for the aerial fleet? leaving CLP2 at Fremantle and CLP3 in Perth as the primary machines. Maybe CLP2 is in for a 'D' level service?

Fremantle crew may be doing increment training or familiarisation in it if it's to become the spare.

Heard on the scanner yesterday, that Murdoch MP broke down and was spilling diesel on North Lake Road.
Anymore details on that?

Also what will they replace it with, a Series 4 or 5?

They are awesome machines that are very capable off road. there is no need for a crew of more than 2 on them. with the work platform and the monitor they are great at dealing with running fire and 2 hose reels on the back allow both operators to blacken out together. it has a drum off 5x40mm lay flat that is great for when there is a lot of work because you can disconnect, get water, return and pick up where you left off. 200L of B class foam that can be delivered from the moitors and 60L of A class foam. They have a great ground clearence and huge tyres on them that create a massive foot print and can be deflated with a deflator kit that gives them an amazing ability off road. i am repeatedly impressed with its capabilities
