Yes it is Midlands new pump, UP1 (Urban Pumper).
Apparently the crews are being trained up on it and it will be fully operational and online in a couple of weeks. I saw it today being followed by their old MP and LT in Helena Valley.

Just Curious with These new urban Pumps does anyone know the specs such as the pump rate, pump type etc, for these appliances or have any pics that they were able to share as i cant find anything on them.

Also are these pumps Just for Midland, Malaga, Success, Wangara and Joondalup which have the older series 3 Medium Pumps or are the to replace both MPs and HPs in the long term?

after talking to my acting DM on the weekend, they are to replace all pumps. The only spec that i was able to get is they will have 5000lpm capacity.

They are 4500LPM and are 99% the same as the New heavy Pumps. Midland got the first and then they will be used to replace the ageing fleet in the Metro and probably country and from what I understand all the pumps in the long term but by then you expect something bigger and better

Saw Midland going for a drive Urban Pump, LT, MP presumeably doing some vehicle training and getting everyone used to driving the vehicles etc. they headed through Helena Valley toward Boya along Helena Valley Road. Nice looking pump, very visible, and I believe someone asked, all the pump controls are on the side.

Saw Bridgetown VFRS's CP or HSR on Leach Highway in Melville the other day. Does anybody know if its a brand newie or is it up to have work done? As of about 6 months back they still has the old LP, but the truck i saw didnt look like the new generation of Isuzu's.

The Bridgetown Brigade will be getting a new HSR from recollection. Their new shed for its storage was under construction in November.

Yes. It may still be being phased in, but they have been spotted with it.
