I've upgraded my car and now have no room for a seperate UHF and Scanner. I'm only going to listen to the Dfes channels and will turn off transmit on them.
But I'd like a single unit for 80chan UHF and dfes listening... pref with a remote head.
Space is limited in these new vehicles..
Could this be programed to listen to Dfes?

Looking at the specs yes it should.
However legally speaking, do you have an Amateur Radio license? This radio would not be legal to use in Australia without one, and won't be legal to use on UHF CB channels without the appropriate certification (and the fact you can do more than 5W output!).
