Nice touches including actually drilling holes for the two VHF low band antennas instead of using boot clips. With that deep red paintjob I reckon this car would stand out more than even the "dazzle" paint jobs on the police highway patrol cars!

There's more pics of what the ESL pays for at
this site and also by browsing the FESA spreadsheet. This District Manager vehicle is different from many - the majority have Pathfinders or Commodore station wagons.

Here's another FESA VZ Commo.
This one was taken at Northam a few months back.
These cars are actually 'police-spec' (9C1 packs) althought they have country FE2 suspension in giving them a slightly higher clearance whilst still maintaining some degree of handling.
Wes this car has since appeared at auction had 76777km on the clock.
What has replaced this?
cheers

After talking to an Area Manager and one of the higher level managers I was informed that most of the vehicles in the country will be Pathfinders or something similiar. (Something about managers going from just FRS to BFS as well and needing to be offroad more often.)

Info for your spreadsheet. As they recently got a third pump at the perth fire station I am pretty sure that this MPHR is now Perth 3rd. The new pump is a new heavy pump. They have made the MPHR Perth 3rd to minimise its time taken up by DBA's/alarm calls and leave it as free as possible to serve its heavy rescue roll in the surrounding area

*laugh* at Wiluna 1.4 - poor buggers wouldnt have seen it yet.. saw it sitting at Forrestfield Academy a few weekends ago when I was there.
as for the Yanchep VFRS.. just sent their captain an email with the link.. they've been waiting for a new appliance for an eon now.. tho looking at that appliance, dont think it'll be doing too well off-road..

Wes,
Any sign of WAPOL vehicles at the Dowerin show?
I know YE201 has not long been replaced.
