Welshpool 2nd just arrived at Perth Airport, missed their call for what is going on.

Apparently ARFF, SJA and PAPL crews are there at the back of a catering truck, no idea whats going on in there however.

Update: 1 Airport Employee with foot stuck in a mechanical device, ARFF got them out before DFES arrived - now waiting to be escorted from the airport

Fire is encroaching on DPaW land... DPaW have requested air support through the state air desk....

I'm assuming DPaW will take control of the fire since there has been absolutely no comms with Murry deputy and 6AR..

hasn't even been a classification given yet..

There is a general smokiness around Bakers Hill, and DFES site is not responding.

Anyone know whats causing it?

Edit: Twitter says smoke in metro area is expected to clear on Monday Morning. Is this the same smoke?

Ignore edit. I should have refreshed my browser.
