Second streaming radio scanner

Post by vk6hgr »

Hi Folks.

I'm setting up a second DFES/DEC streaming scanner. The radio I'm using can scan a group of 10 channels at a time. These are the channels I'm going to have it scan through that I should be able to receive from here. Any thoughts?

1. Ch 644 DEC Water bombers
2. Ch 638 DEC Water bombers
3. Ch 369 Air intel (simplex)
4. Ch 260/32 Swan
5. Ch 346/34 Woorooloo
6. Ch 231/29 Belmont
7. Ch 142/38 Canning Mills
8. Ch 206 Greenmount
9. Ch 238 Sawyers Valley
10. Ch 139/36 Byford

Ok. It's working. The URL is

http://stream.warsug.info:8000/dfes.pls

It has 6AR in as the priority channel which can be switched off if there's action on the other channels.

Reports and comments appreciated :)

Argh. My SES radio has developed an objectionable hum on its signal which I'll fix later.

I'm thinking now I'll make this a stereo stream - one channel will be DFES air attack etc and the other one will be the 10 SES channels.

If you go into Winamp's Option | Preferences click "Allow multiple instances" and you'll be able to open Winamp twice.
